Brisbane Hotels With Rooftop Pools

Ah, Brisbane, affectionately known to locals as Brissie, the sunny gem of Australia’s east coast. Nestled along the banks of the Brisbane River, this lively metropolis is a blend of laid-back charm and cosmopolitan flair. From the iconic Story Bridge to the lush South Bank Parklands and the world’s largest koala sanctuary, there’s no shortage of places to explore in this sunny city.

But let’s talk about what really makes Brissie sizzle – its rooftop pool scene. After a day of soaking in the sights, there’s nothing like unwinding in style at one of the Brisbane hotels with rooftop pools. Join us as we uncover the best spots to sip a chilled LLB (Lemon, Lime, & Bitters) while soaking up the spectacular sunset views in Brisbane.

EXTRAORDINARY PICK

Infinity rooftop pool in Brisbane

G-day from the dazzling 21st floor of Emporium Hotel South Bank, where we found ourselves in awe of the breathtaking views from their rooftop infinity pool. What’s on display? Oh, only the most stunning view of Brisbane’s skyline and the winding river below. But the pool itself is quite a sight, too, a cherry on top of this fabulous hotel.

This 23-meter-long pool isn’t just for toe-dipping, you could actually swim like an Olympic champ here. Palm trees, cabanas, and comfy loungers create an inviting environment that you won’t want to say goodbye to. And here’s the best part – you don’t have to. The hotel offers resort-style poolside cabana suites, which are the ultimate luxury haven for all rooftop pool enthusiasts like us.

QUIRKY PICK

One of the best rooftop pools in Brisbane

Our next pick could easily be crowned as the quirkiest pool of them all, and we are, of course, talking about the W Brisbane. Our eyes just couldn’t get enough of the hypnotizing zebra-like geometric pattern covering the ceiling, columns, and pool floor. Yes, it has a roof, but the sunbeds are strategically positioned to be exposed to the sun for those who want to work on their tan.

Although located on a modest 4th floor, this pool deck is such a fun playground and a feast for the eye, perhaps a bit psychedelic, but once you get used to it, it’s a vibe. The photos of it will definitely be a hit on your socials. And speaking of hits, this pool has underwater speakers, so when the DJ is in the house, this is the ultimate party place.

THE FUN PICK

Prepare for the grand finale: Crystalbrook Vincent Hotel, with its infinity pool positioned below the iconic Story Bridge. Now, that’s a view in a league of its own. It just doesn’t get cooler than that. And let’s talk about the pool itself. Those dark tiles? They infuse it with a dose of mystique and depth and give the whole deck a dash of sophisticated elegance. As you can wee, we took that and went a bit YOLO.

Although rather small, the wooden deck hosts enough sunbeds from where you can soak up the views of the river, CBD, and, of course, the bridge. Plus, there’s a bar ready to shake up some sunset cocktails and weekend DJ sessions to raise the atmosphere to the next level. So, when the sun goes down, be sure you’re there to witness the magic unfold.

JIM and Hels’ view

Rooftop pools in Brisbane surprised us with their diversity and uniqueness, but now, as we sip on our last LLB, it’s time to make the final verdict. Although the competition is fierce, we have to announce Emporium Hotel South Bank as our winner. Offering the full rooftop pool package, from breathtaking views to ample poolside space and surrounding amenities, this hotel simply has it all. And let’s not forget about those rooftop suites right next to the pool. Still, we spotted some other great rooftop pools, like the ones at chic Hotel X and charming Ovolo The Valley, and we can’t wait to be back in Brissie!
